Professional Experience
Mr. Thrope has a broad range of experience in the General Counsel area. He has advised a wide variety of entities in the healthcare, education, technology and other industries in general contracting, high technology contracting, internet and e-commerce activities, bank financing, corporate governance and regulatory matters, litigation oversight, labor, internal investigations, medical-legal-ethical matters, physician arrangements and credentialling and related matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Thrope was a partner at Kalkines, Arky, Zall & Bernstein LLP (1988 to 2002). Mr. Thrope served as a law clerk to the Honorable Leonard B. Sand, Unites States District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York (1980-81), and was an associate and partner at other firms thereafter (1981-87).
