Professional Experience
Ms. Sison provides innovative and fact-based strategic business advice, policy analysis and project support to healthcare, technology and philanthropic organizations. She is committed to helping clients achieve optimal and viable clinical, financial and operational results using customized approaches while building trust-based relationships. Her areas of interest include using information technology to improve and enhance operations, program design and implementation, information exchange and process reengineering.
Prior to joining Manatt Health Solutions, Ms. Sison worked as an intern for Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates (HVMA), where she helped to develop a pilot disease management collaborative for over 700 joint diabetic patients aimed at improving and innovating the current standard of care. In addition, she assisted in the design, deployment and evaluation of a project that utilized Lean management principles to streamline and standardize operational and clinical processes. As a Project Consultant for Object Health in 2006, Ms. Sison created clinic-specific and regional recommendations for project funders to build networks for Electronic Health Record (EHR) adoption among community clinics in Southern California. Ms. Sison also did pro bono work as a summer marketing consultant for Positive Care Center, formerly known as PositiveHealth Practice, at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). There, she generated a strategic outline to meet the clinic’s internal and external organizational needs. She began her career at UCSF as a research associate and lab manager in the Neurosurgery Department, where she studied immunoresistance in glioma and antigen-specific modeling of glioma.
