Professional Experience
Libby Sagara is a Manager of Manatt Health Solutions, a policy and strategic advisory division of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. Ms. Sagara provides experience in health information technology (health IT) marketing, communications and education, including program management, organizational readiness assessment and instructional design.
Prior to joining Manatt Health Solutions, Ms. Sagara worked with Object Health, a management consulting group that merged with Manatt Health Solutions. Object Health assisted healthcare organizations and communities with leveraging health information to improve operational efficiencies and health quality outcomes by addressing the intersection of strategic, operational and technical issues of managing healthcare information. While with Object Health, Ms. Sagara worked with community clinics and health centers, consortia, regional health information organizations and providers to assess their readiness for health IT and to manage the rollout of a countywide portal for health information exchange.
Before joining Object Health in 2005, Ms. Sagara was the director of marketing at BenefitPoint, Inc., an application service provider for health plans and financial services companies, where she worked with two of the largest health plans in California to design applications and products ultimately reducing consumers’ healthcare costs. She also worked with Cambridge Technology Partners’ Organizational Readiness group to prepare financial services companies for Customer Relationship Management software implementations. With CTP, Ms. Sagara performed instructional design, training and technology readiness assessments for clients in the US and Latin America. She began her career as a high school English and History teacher in the San Francisco Bay Area.
