Professional Experience
Mr. Fiori provides strategic and regulatory advice, policy analysis and project support to healthcare, human services and advocacy organizations. Areas of expertise also include public health insurance programs, healthcare financing and reimbursement, and health information technology.
Prior to joining the firm, he provided government relations and strategy consulting for the After-School Corporation, where he assisted in securing federal and local grants to support after-school programming. Previously, Mr. Fiori worked for the New York City Economic Development Corporation, structuring debt for various nonprofits, including a number of healthcare-related organizations in New York.
Mr. Fiori has also served as a consultant to the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation, where he co-authored a report on the health insurance market and its impact on employer coverage. He has also worked as a policy advisor for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, consulting with hospitals, health plans, pharmaceutical companies and employers on privacy, finance, regulatory and coverage issues in the healthcare marketplace. At the chamber, he led a campaign to inform and educate San Diego community and business leaders on the importance of a comprehensive and affordable healthcare network.
