Manatt Health Solutions Adds Erik Johnson In Washington

WASHINGTON, D.C. – June 2, 2008 –Manatt Health Solutions (MHS) the interdisciplinary policy and business advisory division of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, announced today that Erik Johnson has joined MHS as a managing director.  He is based in Manatt’s Washington, DC office.

Johnson comes to MHS from The Advisory Board Company where, as managing director of the True North/Information Technology Insights program, he developed and implemented IT solutions to facilitate effective decision-making and accelerate the implementation and efficacy of new information technologies across hospitals and health systems to advance their clinical and operational goals.  In addition, as managing director of the Financial Leadership Council, Johnson identified best practices and implementation guidelines for revenue cycle management, capital planning and budgeting, and supply chain management.

“Erik’s strong background in the implementation and utilization of information technology in the healthcare space, specifically in an inpatient setting, is a great compliment to the strength of our national MHS team,” said William S. Johnson earned an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an A.B., with honors and distinction, from Stanford University.
