Working with State Leaders and RHIOs to Implement Health Information Exchange and Create Sustainable Models

Our team acts as strategic advisors and counsel to some of the nation's leading regional health information organizations (RHIOs) and community health information exchange (HIE) projects. We help RHIOs develop their role in enabling interoperability of health IT systems, establishing privacy and security policies and serving as a gateway to disease management and life sciences advances. We serve in a number of capacities to these organizations, including acting executive director, governance specialist, counsel, and privacy and security expert. MHS professionals formulate strategic plans, implement RHIOs, shape statewide policy development, align the financial and technical aspects of health information exchange and support the collaboration among technology vendors to formulate sustainable models and help our clients improve the health of the citizens in their communities or states.
